I just released my first three of hopefully many widgets for Dashing (the dashboard project released by Shopify). It is also my first time contributing to an open source project.

This is actually a fork of the original widget. I modified it so that I could view the data on multiple profiles on one widget. Since I have a small network of sites to check this was a better use of screen real estate.
While Pingdom is definitely a superior product (and there exists a widget for that) this checks whether or not the server your dashboard on can successfully contact other servers either inside or outside your network. It can check via ping or http request.
This widget allows you to quickly see what tasks are assigned to you for today in Asana without needing to switch tabs.
